Fire crews in house blaze rescue
ONE person was dramatically rescued through a window last night following a house fire.
Firefighters tackled the ground-floor blaze in Buchanan Close, Monmouth, after the alarm was raised at about 3.15am.
The rescued person was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and was attended to by paramedics.
Two fire engines from Monmouth and Hereford and Worcestershire fire service fought the blaze.
